2021 was the year when it was finally going to be over. Until it wasn’t.

22 December 2021

The news may be getting you down with gloomy forecasts and projections. So we’re going to buck the trend. This is our 2021 round up of positive G Comms news.

As reported earlier in the month, the continued success of G Comms has led to further expansion, a move to a new facility and led to the growth of our workforce.

We’re continuing to work with the major mobile operators, EE, BT, O2 and Vodafone. Together we’re creating the UK 5G network, which will be transformative for every industry and business.

We’re a big part of this transformation, and proud to be playing our role in keeping people connected, informed and safe.

As well as this work, we recently won a contract providing technical support for a driverless car test. This exciting and fascinating work will see driverless cars operating in and around Coventry.

All this incredible success means good things for the local area, as we’re creating new job opportunities for people in and around Coleshill. It’s the hard work of the G Comms team that’s led us to this continued success. That’s why we worked hard to earn our recent ‘Investors in People’ award and were awarded Silver on our first attempt.

This is something only 15% of organisations achieve. We shall continue developing staff and processes, and work toward the highest available award, IIP Platinum.

A family business who are striving for perfection. It’s a fast-paced business who are reactive to customers. Claire is really passionate.

At the end of last year, we asked our branding agency PLOTT to come up with a gift for our clients to say thank you. PLOTT delivered with a lovely little calendar which was a huge hit. We have a new and refreshed calendar for 2022, so thanks again to all our clients and to PLOTT.

Speaking of PLOTT, we were delighted that G Comms could help them with their charitable donation to the YMCA Release Young Carers project. PLOTT had put together Christmas care boxes full of necessities and little luxuries. These are given to the young carers to help them out at a difficult time of year, and to show them they’re not alone. We donated £250 in vouchers for the young people to treat themselves.

It’s a wonderful cause, and we’re so happy to help. #youAreNotAlone

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, from us all at G Comms.
